Magento 2 Backend Developer (WFH)

Job Title: Magento 2 Backend Developer (WFH) Job Type: Full Time Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the backend of Magento 2 e-commerce sites.
Customize Magento functionalities using well-structured, scalable, and efficient code.
Install and configure Magento extensions and develop new custom extensions.
Optimize the performance of the website by analyzing and refining back-end processes and database queries.
Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Ensure comprehensive security and data protection measures are implemented.
Create and maintain documentation for all developed applications and system configuration.
Stay informed of new technologies and updates within the Magento ecosystem.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues, optimize performance, and improve reliability.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Magento 2 Backend Developer (specify years of experience required).
Strong understanding of the Magento system architecture, design, theming, functionality enhancements, configuration.
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
Solid experience in API integrations and payment gateway integrations.
Familiarity with the Agile development methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
